I provide non-legal advocacy and communication support for people impacted by incarceration – especially when the next step is unclear and the stakes feel high. My work focuses on helping people communicate effectively, organize information, and navigate systems with clarity and intention.
What I Help With
- Writing and editing advocacy letters, including clemency, parole, mitigation, and general support letters.
- Drafting clear, respectful emails and written requests to correctional facilities, agencies, and officials.
- Helping families understand processes, timelines, and next steps (non-legal guidance).
- Acting as a liaison for communication, including phone calls and follow-up correspondence.
- Organizing information, documents, and communication plans.
- Supporting families who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin.
You do not need to know what to ask for or where to start. Helping you figure that out is part of the support I provide.
How Support Works
Support is available in two ways depending on what you need right now. Some people come with something written and need help improving it. Others need clarity on what to write, who to contact, and how to move forward. Both are common.
